  3. DUKE OF EDINBURGH STUDENTS PREPARE WITH PRACTICE WALK

Well done to our Year 13  Duke of Edinburgh Group for completing their first practice walk on Saturday 18 February 2017.

Pupils set off from Rostrevor at sea level  and climbed up to the Cloughmore Stone. From there they navigated across to Slieve Martin (485Metres) and made their way back down ‘the zig zags’ to the bottom car park via a few tricky diversions.  In total it took about 4 hours and everyone was ready for a long rest and hot dinner!  Well done Team New-Bridge 2017
