Anti-Bullying Week 2017

Anti-Bullying Week 2017 Schedule

Here at New-Bridge we celebrated our annual Anti-Bullying week from 13th-17th November 2017. Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors had been planning for weeks a variety of events to bring the whole school together to show their support towards stopping bullying at our school. The Ambassadors wanted to raise awareness of this through a range of fun activities, bringing pupils together to unite against bullying.

The week started with our Junior Assembly, which had a variety of elements to it including a dance, a drama performance, some very moving videos, and a performance of an anti-bullying song written by our own Ambassador Jessica Quinn. All ambassadors got fully involved in this assembly and this made a big impact on the junior school pupils.

From our launch party of the new “Den”, to a Bake-Off, a 5-a-side football tournament, a “blue” hamper, face painting, and a Lip Sync Battle, not to forget our annual “Blue Day” – there was certainly something for everyone to get involved in. Our Ambassadors put everything into running this week with passion and enthusiasm, and they did it all with the biggest smiles on their faces.

Anti-Bullying Week 2017 was definitely a very successful one, and one that we should be very proud of as a school. The Ambassadors done New-Bridge proud and as a team they all came together to show how passionate they are about putting a stop to bullying. Mrs Wright and Miss Mc Cann couldn’t be any prouder of the Ambassadors, and couldn’t ask for a better, more pro-active team.
