SPECIAL FINN TRIP
On Saturday evening past Miss Crawford, Mrs Cuffey and Mr Michael took 3 members of the FIN group (FRIENDSHIP IN NEW-BRIDGE) Sara Bingham, Georgia Judd and Victoria Gilpin to an event called ‘Unite’ run by SUNI (Scripture Union Northern Ireland), held in the Ulster Hall in Belfast. It was open to groups like FIN from school all across Northern Ireland. We were made to feel really welcome by the staff and volunteers of SUNI – they were so excited that New-Bridge was part of this for the very first time this year.
There were nearly 500 post-primary students at the event which was a real encouragement to our students that, although they may be small in number in New-Bridge, that they are part of something much bigger. Through it, we were also able to make links with groups from local schools so we are excited to see where that leads.
